BM Bureau, July 1 : Noted medical practitioner and Director and CEO of Kasbekar Metgud Clinic Dr Basavaraj Metgud has urged doctors to treat them on humanity grounds. He also acknowledged the services of the nurses and diagnostic staff in assisting doctors while treating the patients. He was speaking at the ‘Doctor’s Day’ function that was held at the Kasbekar Metgud Clinic. Noted doctors were felicitated for their services ‘
“ Approach the patient on the humanity grounds and treat the patient as a person not as a patient . Think yourself in patients position and understand patients sufferings anguish and pain,” Dr Metgud urged.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Vanita Metgud urged doctors to take care of their health and safety while they render continuous service to patients. Dr Pradeep Shantagiri urged doctors to identify the exact health problems and render exact treatment to gain the confidence of the patients.
Noted Gynac Surgeon Dr Ketaki Bhosale, Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Hemant Kaujalgi also spoke on the occasion. Dr Kaujalgi also paid rich tributes to Late Dr VS Metgud who was the recipient of Dr B C Roy award.
Directors Dr Akshay Metgud, Dr Satwik Metgud, Mrs Swaroopa Metgud, Manager Anand Chikhali, Adm Officer Rahul Desai and noted personalities were present.
