BM Bureau, Dec 15 : As the part of preparations to the Christmas, All Karnataka United Christian Forum Forum for Human Rights, Belgaum Zone is organising a United Christmas Celebration program on Sunday, December 18.
To be held at the Fatima Cathedral Campus at 6 pm, Bishop Derek Fernandes will be presiding over the program.
Christians belonging to different denominations and sects will come together to offer prayer services. Teams from different schools and churches will be presenting Christmas Carols and also Christmas skits.
“Christmas reminds us of the love of God. God sent his only son to save us. Jesus the prince of Peace, brought the message of peace to everyone. Christmas is the celebration of Love and peace. Hence it is the celebration of not only Christians but of every human being. Hence it is the invitation for everyone to celebrate God’s love,” Bishop Fernandes said.
The program is open for all hence, the organising committee has urged people to be present for the event while they prepare for Christmas celebrations.
