Register suo motu complaint against Home Minister Jnanendra : MLA Nimbalkar


BM Bureau, April 9 : While religious tension and intolerance is on the rise in Karnataka, Khanapur MLA Anjali Nimbalkar has urged Belagavi police commissioner MB Borlingaih to register a suo-motu complaint against home minister Aragha Jnanendra for reported his attempt to create tension in Karnataka. Team of Congress party leaders from Belagavi district under the leadership of MLA Nimbalkar on Saturday submitted the memorandum stating that the Home Minister has created communal tension by giving false information regarding the death of a youth of a particular community  which caused ethnic tension in Karnataka.

She has also asked for initiating action against BJP national general secretary C T Ravi for misleading people and causing ethnic tension.

Speaking at a press conference earlier MLA Nimbalkar demanded resignation of home minister Jnanendra calling him as Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) agent. “ BJP is trying to hide the real issues like price hike, unemployment and diverting  people by creating communal tension in the state which is causing unrest leading to rising intolerance,” Nimbalkar said.

District (Rural) president Vinay Navalgatti, city president Raju Sait, Sunil Hanmannavar and others were present.
