PUC II board examinations postponed, all teachers to work from home- S Suresh Kumar


BM Bureau, May 4 : Amid the rising Covid scare, Government of Karnataka has postponed the PUC II (Class 12) examinations indefinitely whereas the PUC I (Class 11) students will be promoted to PUC II.

Making this important announcement on Tuesday, Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar  said that all teachers will work from home due to rising coronavirus cases in the state. The Class 12 exams were scheduled to be conducted from May 24 to June 6.

The SSLC examinations scheduled to be held from June 14, have been postponed to June 21. Thus the timetable for the  PUC II Exam that was released on January 29, 2021 has been now withheld.
