Its high time citizens observe restrain and stick to Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) he urged.
Meanwhile, speaking about the preparedness in the District Hospital he said that the hospital has 13,000 liters oxygen tank and 800 beds with oxygen facility. facility to provide oxygen out of which 300 are provided for Covid patients. Another oxygen tank with 20,000 liters capacity is being erected he said. While a normal patient requires upto 2 liters of Oxygen, a Covid patient needs 8 to 30 liters of oxygen, he ascertianed.
When asked whether entire hospital would be turned into Covid hospital he said that there are no instructions from the government, as mild cases are being treated under home isolation.
BIMS hospital is treating all the cases and also has successfully conducted deliveries of 30 Covid patients he said.
