BM Bureau, Jan 19 : Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai who has recovered from Corona said that decision on relaxing Covid restrictions in the state would be taken after discussing the issue at a meeting with the experts. The meeting is scheduled to be held on Friday.
However, questions are being raised about the proposed relaxation by Karnataka government as the state recorded a massive 41,457 new infections and 20 deaths, as compared to 27,156 cases and 14 deaths recorded on Monday. 25,595 cases are from Bengaluru alone. Thus the state’s positivity rate rose to an alarming 22.30 per cent.
